Hiking The Fair Hill NRMA

Near Elkton in Cecil County, the 5,600 acre Fair Hill Natural Resource Management Area has trails through pristine fields and woodlands. A blazed trail extends from each parking lot and joins the parks extensive trail system (approximately 70 miles). The multi-use trails are open to hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians alike.

To reach the trailhead, use exit 100 off Interstate 95 North toward Rising Sun on Route 272 North. Take a right on Rt. 273 and follow to the intersection of Rt. 273 and 213, proceed through the traffic light - Fair Hill entrance is 300 yards on the right.

Overall, Fair Hill NRMA is the 15th most popular hiking trail of all 20 hikes in Maryland.
