The 3.8 million acre Parque Nacional Noel Kempff Mercado receives only a couple hundred visitors each year. This dense, steamy jungle has only 28 miles of trails and 43 miles of road. Must sees include the Arco Iris waterfall (250) and the 93 mile long Huanchaca Plateau rising 1800 feet above the plain. Watch for spider monkeys, pink dolpins, giant river otters, pumas and wolves.
While on adventure in Bolivia, it is important to keep in mind your own personal safety. Keep an eye out for pickpockets and be aware that it wouldn't be uncommon to have a theft in your room while you are sleeping. This is especially important since the passport/visa replacement process is complex, lengthy and costly.
