Southwest of Huntsville, the 2,000 acre Huntsville State Park has 7.7 miles of wooded trails.

To reach the hiking trailhead from Houston, head south on US45 to Exit 109. Proceed west on P40 into the park.

Overall, Huntsville State Park is the 15th most popular hiking trail of all 32 hikes in Texas.
