Hiking The Caprock Canyons State Park

The 19th most popular hiking trail in Texas.

Southeast of Amarillo, the Caprock Canyons State Park has 65 miles of trails. About 25 miles of the trails are in rugged terrain with cliffs and drop-offs.

To reach the hiking trailhead from Amarillo, head south on US27 to FM1065. Follow signs to State Park.

Overall, Caprock Canyons State Park is the 19th most popular hiking trail of all 32 hikes in Texas.
