Northwest of Wytheville in the Jefferson National Forest, the Seven Sisters Trail runs 5 miles along the Little Walker Mountain ridge past old growth whitepine and rhododendron. A nice hiking loop starts from the hiker parking area and leads to NFS Stoney Creek Campground. When it crosses SR717, head east 2.5 miles back to trailhead.

To reach the trailhead from Wytheville, follow US77 north to exit #47. Head west on SR717 for 1 miles to the trailhead parking.

Overall, Seven Sisters Trail is the 7th most popular hiking trail of all 23 hikes in Virginia. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby Seven Sisters Trail including Devils Fork Loop Trail, Trails Of Dismal, Crawfish/Channel Rock Trails, Tract Fork Trail and Laurel Fork Trail.
