Hiking The La Verkin Creek Trail

The 7th most popular hiking trail in Utah.

Northeast of St. George in the Zion National Park, the La Verkin Creek Trail is a 7 mile one-way route starting from Lee Pass that is a backcountry route to the famous Kolob Arch.

To reach the hiking trailhead from St. George, head east on US15 to Exit 40 (Kolob Canyon Road). Head east on Kolob Canyon Road to Lee Pass, about 3.5 miles. The trailhead is on the left.

Overall, La Verkin Creek Trail is the 7th most popular hiking trail of all 38 hikes in Utah.
