Hiking The Nebo Bench Trail

Southeast of Salt Lake City in the Mount Nebo Wilderness, the Nebo Bench Trail is a 6.5 mile one-way trek with 2,700 feet of vertical through meadows and aspen forests.

To reach the hiking trailhead from Salt Lake, head south on US15 for 87 miles. Proceed east on SR132 for 5 miles. Turn north on Mt Nebo Loop Road for 3.3 miles. Turn left onto forest road for 1.3 miles past the campground.

Overall, Nebo Bench Trail is the 15th most popular hiking trail of all 38 hikes in Utah. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby Nebo Bench Trail including American Fork Canyon and Fifth Water Trail.
