West of Knoxville and east of Oak Ridge, the Haw Ridge Park has 20 miles of hiking trails for mountain bikers, hikers and horseback riders. There are steep, technical climbs and plenty of roots and rocks.

To reach the trailhead from US40, head north on SR162 towards Oak Ridge. Beyond Melton Lake, exit on Edgemoor Road (SR170) heading east for 0.7 miles.

Overall, Haw Ridge Park is the 7th most popular hiking trail of all 24 hikes in Tennessee.
