Hiking The Linn Run Trail System

The 19th most popular hiking trail in Pennsylvania.

Southeast of Pittsburgh and Ligonier in the Forbes State Forest, the 10+ mile Linn Run Trail System is open to hiking. The system consists of the Grove Run Trail (3.8 miles), Fish Run Trail (2.5 miles) and the Quarry Trail (3.9 miles) among others. There are several trailheads along Linn Run Road.

Overall, Linn Run Trail System is the 19th most popular hiking trail of all 32 hikes in Pennsylvania. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby Linn Run Trail System including Ohiopyle State Park Trails, Bear Run Nature Reserve, Quebec Run Wild Area, Mountain Streams Trail System, Roaring Run Natural Area and Forbes State Forest Trails.
