Hiking The Virgin River Rim Trail

The 17th most popular hiking trail in Utah.

East of Cedar City in the Dixie National Forest, the 20 mile Virgin River Rim Trail is a narrow ridgeline hiking trail along the Pink Cliffs through lush alpine forest.

To reach the hiking trailhead from US15, use Exit 15 - Cedar City. Head east on SR14 for 13 miles. Turn right heading south onto access road where trail starts.

Overall, Virgin River Rim Trail is the 17th most popular hiking trail of all 38 hikes in Utah.
