South of Cannonville in the Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument, the Kodachrome Basin State Park has several scenic trails through amazing red rock formations. To reach the hiking trailhead from Cannonville, head south on Cottonwood Valley Road for about 15 miles. The park entrance is well signed on the left.
