Hiking The F. Gilbert Hills State Forest
The 24th most popular hiking trail in Massachusetts.

Southwest of Boston and Foxboro, the 1,000 acre F. Gilbert Hills State Forest has 23 miles of multi-use trails looping through the forest. One of the more popular hiking routes is the long distance Warner Trail that travels through Norfolk County on the way to Rhode Island.
To reach the F. Gilbert Hills State Forest from Boston, head south on US95 to Exit 7. Follow SR140 north and then, Foxborough, 3/4 around common, bear right onto South Street. Turn right onto Mill Street and follow the signs.
Overall, F. Gilbert Hills State Forest is the 24th most popular hiking trail of all 36 hikes in Massachusetts. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby F. Gilbert Hills State Forest including Myles Standish State Forest, Wompatuck State Park, Willowdale State Forest, Blue Hills Reservation, Bay Circuit, Lynn Woods Reservation and Breakheart Reservation.
