Hiking The Monroe State Forest

The 26th most popular hiking trail in Massachusetts.

Northeast of North Adams and west of Monroe Bridge in the Berkshires, the 4,300 acre Monroe State Forest hasmiles of trails open to mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding through deep valleys and over forested mountains.

To reach the trailhead, follow SR2 to Florida. Turn onto Tilda Hill Road and follow the signs.

Overall, Monroe State Forest is the 26th most popular hiking trail of all 36 hikes in Massachusetts.
