East of Jacksonville and south of Ponte Vedra Beach, the Guana River State Park has a scenic 9 mile loop through salt marshes, pine flatwoods and open savannas.

To reach the hiking trailhead from Ponte Vedra Beach, head south on SR A1A to South Ponte Vedra Beach. The trail starts in the woods at the dam (its not obvious).
