Highline Trail Hiking

Northwest of Vernal in the Ashley National Forest, the Highline Trail (#025) is a well-marked and heavily used 80+ mile hiking route. The western terminus is northwest of Roosevelt. The eastern terminus is north of Vernal on US191. Note, the eastern end from US191 to Oaks Park Reservoir is shared with ATV riders and mountain bikers.

To reach the eastern terminus from Vernal, head north on US191 for 30 miles.
