North of Trenton in Bridgewater Township, the 700 acre Washington Valley Park has a nice trail network in the Watchung Mountains. The trails roam through pine and hemlock forest, and around wetland marshes.

To reach the hiking trailhead from US287, use Exit 14. Head east on US22 to Vosseller Road. Turn left heading north to Miller Lane. Turn left heading west on Miller Lane to parking area.

Overall, Washington Valley Park is the 24th most popular hiking trail of all 29 hikes in New Jersey.
