Hiking The Point Au Roche State Park

The 32nd most popular hiking trail in New York.

Northeast of Plattsburg, the Point Au Roche State Park has 12 miles of multi-use trails open to hiking and cross-country skiing.

To reach the trailhead from Plattsburg, head north on US87 to Exit 40. Head east on CR 32 (Spellman Road). Turn right heading south on US9. Turn left heading east on CR34 (Point Au Roche Road) into the park.

Overall, Point Au Roche State Park is the 32nd most popular hiking trail of all 49 hikes in New York.
