On the eastern tip of Long Island, the Montauk State Park has 6 miles of multi-use trails for hiking through heavily wooded tundra.

To reach the trailhead, follow SR27 east to the very end of Long Island.

Note, there are two trails open only to hikers; the Seal Haulout Trail and the Paumanok Path.
