Hiking The Gorge Trail

The 35th most popular hiking trail in New York.

Southeast of Buffalo and northeast of Portageville in Wyoming County, the Letchworth State Park has 70 miles of hiking trails with various uses including hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, horseback and snowmobile riding. The trails pass through lush forest along the Genessee River gorge and pass three major waterfalls. A 21.5 mile section of the Finger Lakes Trail passes through the park as well.

Overall, Gorge Trail is the 35th most popular hiking trail of all 49 hikes in New York.
