Hiking The Harrison-Crawford State Forest

South of Indianapolis near the Ohio River in the Harrison-Crawford State Forest, the Adventure Hiking Trail is a rolling 24 mile trek encircling the Harrison-Crawford State Forest. Most trekers start from Potato Run and do the loop counterclockwise.

To reach the trailhead from Corydon, head west on SR62 for 9 miles. Turn left heading south on SR462 for 4 miles. Veer left heading south on the road to Potato Run. The trailhead is near the Pioneer Cabin Shelter.

Overall, Harrison-Crawford State Forest is the 16th most popular hiking trail of all 21 hikes in Indiana.
