West of Harrisonburg in the George Washington National Forest, the Wolf Ridge Trail is a 4 mile hiking route through hardwood forests. It can be combined with many other local trails to form loops.

To reach the hiking trailhead from Harrisonburg, head west on SR257 through Dayton. Turn left on Tillman Road for 1.3 miles to trailhead.

Overall, Wolf Ridge Trail is the 18th most popular hiking trail of all 23 hikes in Virginia.
