Southwest of Jacksonville and Orange Park, the Evans Loop Trail is a 16 mile hiking route in the 24,000 acre Jennings State Forest. Also, there is the 5 mile North Fork Black Creek Loop Trail.

To reach the hiking trailhead, follow SR21 (Blanding Blvd) to CR220A (Old Jennings Road). Head west on CR220A for 4 miles. Turn north on Live Oak Lane for 0.5 miles to the trailhead.

Overall, Evans Loop Trail is the 35th most popular hiking trail of all 43 hikes in Florida. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby Evans Loop Trail including Tomoka State Park, Loop Trail, St. Francis Trail and Little Talbot Island State Park.
