West of Heber in the Rim Lakes Recreation Area, the Willow Springs Lake route is a six mile loop through scenic ponderosa forest.

To reach the hiking trailhead from Heber, head west on SR260 for 16.7 miles. Turn right on FS149. The trailhead is located 0.5 miles on the left.

The trail starts across the road. The route is blazed with blue diamonds. The trail is quite rocky.
