Near Sunnyside, the Center Hill Trail is located at the end of the Town of Sunnyside, just east of Goobies Junction. Ranked easy to moderate, the trail winds through scenic marshes, trout ponds, brooks and a waterfall before rewarding the hiker with a panoramic view from the peak of Center Hill which juts 1153 feet above sea level. The surrounding heathland is home to bakeapples, partridgeberries, blueberries, ostrich ferns, wild rose and the provincial plant - the pitcher plant. Users are exposed to a variety of animal life and are given numerous opportunities to photograph the untouched beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Overall, Center Hill Trail is the 4th most popular hiking trail of all 5 hikes in Newfoundland.
