Hiking The Fond Du Lac State Forest

The 23rd most popular hiking trail in Minnesota.

West of Duluth and northeast of Cromwell, the Fond Du Lac State Forest has a 11 mile trail system open to hikers in the summer and cross country skiers in the winter. The rolling trail system offers loops of varying distances.

The trailhead is located northeast of Cromwell on Ditchbank Road.
