The Welch/Dickey Mountain Trail is a 4.5 mile round trip route. It makes a unique scenic loop to the summits of two mountains.

To reach the hiking trailhead from US93, use Exit 28. Head east on SR49 for 6 miles. Turn left following Mad River Road for 0.7 miles. Turn right on Orris Road for 0.6 miles to the parking area.

Overall, Welch/Dickey Mountain Trail is the 14th most popular hiking trail of all 17 hikes in New Hampshire.
