West of Conway, the 10 mile Nanamacomuck Trail is a moderately challenging hiking route through the Whites. The Lower Nanamacomuck is very easty to find and follow, it parrallels the Swift river after 7 miles of rolling track the trail ends at the covered bridge campground on the Kancamaugus Highway.

To reach the hiking trailhead from North Conway, head west on the Kancamaugus Highway (SR16) for about 6 miles to the Albany Covered Bridge parking lot.

Overall, Lower Nanamacomuck Trail is the 12th most popular hiking trail of all 17 hikes in New Hampshire.
