Hiking The Clinton State Park

The 7th most popular hiking trail in Kansas.

Southeast of Topeka and southwest of Lawerence in the Clinton State Park, the Lake Clinton North Shore Trail system has two hiking trails totaling 25 miles. There is an easy blue route and a difficult white route with steep climbs and rocky stream crossings. These North Shore trails are only open to hikers and mountain bikers.

To reach the trailhead from Lawrence, follow SR10 west to CR13. Turn right and then take first left into the park. Parking is off the gravel road on the right.

Overall, Clinton State Park is the 7th most popular hiking trail of all 8 hikes in Kansas.
