Hiking The Gods Pocket Peak

North of Elko and southeast of Jarbidge, the Gods Pocket Peak Trail (#099) is an 11 mile route open to hiking. The route runs through the Jarbidge Wildnerness Area up to the East Fork Of Jarbidge River Trail (#200).

The trailhead is not easy to find -- contact the Ranger District office for the best directions from your location.

Overall, Gods Pocket Peak is the 18th most popular hiking trail of all 20 hikes in Nevada. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby Gods Pocket Peak including Ruby Crest Trail, Angel Lake / Grey Lake Trail and Horse Canyon Trail.
