Hiking The Timber Trail

The 18th most popular hiking trail in Ontario.

Near North Bay, the 16km Timber Trail is located on the north side of the Mattawa River within the Mattawa River Provincial Park. It is a water access only trail with hiking trailheads on the north side of Pimisi Bay and the Campion Rapids within Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park. It was developed by the Canadian Ecology Centre and a guide is available.

Overall, Timber Trail is the 18th most popular hiking trail of all 21 hikes in Ontario.
