Southeast of Tulsa and east of Talihina in the Ouachita National Forest, the Boardstand Trail (aka Boardstand Old Military Road) is a 23 mile route open to hiking.

To reach the trailhead from Talihina, head west on US271. Turn right on SR1 briefly to the trailhead.
