South of Orlando near Sebring, the 9,250 acre Highlands Hammock State Park has 15 miles of trails open to hiking including an 8 mile hardpack-shell loop road.

The Highlands Hammock State Park is located on SR634 (Hammock Road) just west of US27 near Sebring. Watch for bald eagles and panthers.

Overall, Highlands Hammock State Park is the 42nd most popular hiking trail of all 43 hikes in Florida.
