Hiking The Dawa / Rupp Loop

Northwest of Sedona, the Dawa Trail and Rupp Trail can be combined for an awesome singletrack loop. These are newer trails in the Sedona area.

To reach the hiking trailhead from uptown Sedona, head west on SR89A for 4.5 miles to the Sedona Cultural Park. Turn right heading north to the end of the road. Park on the right hand side. The Rupp Trail heads north from the parking lot.

Overall, Dawa / Rupp Loop is the 48th most popular hiking trail of all 49 hikes in Arizona. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby Dawa / Rupp Loop including West Clear Creek Trail, Huckaby Trail, West Fork Trail, Hot Loop Trail, Cathedral Rock / Templeton Trail and Wilson Mountain TrailJim Thompson Trail.
