Hiking The Waihee Valley Ridge Trail

On Maui, the Waihee Valley Ridge Trail is a 3 mile route through scrub forest and guava groves to a panoramic vista of Kahakuloa and central Maui.

The hiking trailhead is access from the Kahekili Highway (SR340). Turn off on Maluhia Road for 1 mile and look for signed trailhead.

Overall, Waihee Valley Ridge Trail is the 45th most popular hiking trail of all 45 hikes in Hawaii. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby Waihee Valley Ridge Trail including Sliding Sands, Mamane Trail, Piilani Trail, Kaupo Gap Trail, Hana-Waianapanapa Coast Trail and Pipiwai TrailPolipoli Loop.
