Hiking The Waimoku Falls Trail

The 43rd most popular hiking trail in Hawaii.

On the southeast side of Maui in Haleakala National Park, the Waimoku Falls Trail is a 4 mile route starting at the Kipahulu Visitor Center. The hiking route climbs through the rain forest and bamboo forest to the 400 foot tall Waimoku Falls. Note: while the trail is maintained, the route can be pretty muddy.

Overall, Waimoku Falls Trail is the 43rd most popular hiking trail of all 45 hikes in Hawaii. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby Waimoku Falls Trail including Sliding Sands, Mamane Trail, Piilani Trail, Kaupo Gap Trail, Hana-Waianapanapa Coast Trail and Pipiwai TrailPolipoli Loop.
