Hiking The Waterlily Nature Trails

The 18th most popular hiking trail in British Columbia.

West of Prince George and northeast of Vanderhoof, the Waterlily Nature Trails are a variety of easy to moderate trail loops.

To reach the hiking trailhead from the Info Centre, travel north 1.4 km on Burrard Ave to Northside Rd, turn right; travel 2.4 km to Sturgeon Pt Rd, turn right; travel 6.4 km then go straight on Smedley Rd for 2.7 km to trailhead. Park on right.

Trails have 7 loops from 1.2 to 11.9 km in length. All trails are blazed with orange markers For one of the longer routes, follow Moose Mountain Mainline trail (5.35 km one way) to the Moose Mountain Geodetic Survey Marker.

Note: These trails are very popular with ATV riders.

Overall, Waterlily Nature Trails is the 18th most popular hiking trail of all 18 hikes in British Columbia.
