Hiking The Mill Creek Trail

The 87th most popular hiking trail in California.

East of Crescent City in the Redwood National Park, the Mill Creek Trail is a 5 mile round trip hike through old growth redwoods along the namesake stream.

To reach the trailhead from Crescent City, head east up Howland Hill Road for 7 miles. The trail starts out in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park.

Overall, Mill Creek Trail is the 87th most popular hiking trail of all 88 hikes in California.
