On Culebra Island, the Playa Flamenco Beach area is a very popular attraction for hikers.

After the ferry ride from Puerto Rico, there is public transportation from the dock to Playa Flamenco Beach.

The campground is government-run, you will find the office at the entrance of the campground where you must go and register. You will be assigned an area to pitch your tent. This rule was established recently to make it easier for the camp guards to patrol the area. You will find that camping in Flamenco Beach is very safe.

Note: This beach is extremely crowded in the summer.

Overall, Culebra Island - Flamenco Beach is the 8th most popular hiking trail of all 10 hikes in Puerto Rico.
