Hiking The Pleasant Hill Trail

The 15th most popular hiking trail in Alabama.

Northeast of Tuskegee in the Tuskegee National Forest, the 3.7 mile Pleasant Hill Trail winds through scenic forest. The route is open to both hiking and mountain biking.

To reach the trailhead from US85, use Exit 42. Head east on SR186 for about 1.5 miles. Turn left on FS900 briefly to the trailhead parking area.

Note: This trail is not open to horseback riding.

Overall, Pleasant Hill Trail is the 15th most popular hiking trail of all 15 hikes in Alabama. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby Pleasant Hill Trail including Bartram National Recreation Trail and Bedford Cash Memorial Trail.
