Hiking The Mt. Stromlo Descent

The 6th most popular hiking trail in Australia.

Near Canberra, the Stromlo Forest has many great fireroad and singletrack hikes through thick pine woods. Some of the better trails descend off the summit of Mt. Stromlo. The Stromlow Forest is located on the left side of Tuggeranong Parkway. The best trailhead is the cark park near the Coppings Crossing Road and Cotter Road intersection. Hike up the fire road to the Mt. Stromlo summit.

Overall, Mt. Stromlo Descent is the 6th most popular hiking trail of all 16 hikes in Australia.
