Linking Banff and Canmore, the Rundle Riverside trails is a rough rocky roller coaster. The hiking trail combines 8km of trail with 6 km of double track and starts in Banff near the kiosk at the far end of the Golf Course Loop Road.

Overall, Rundle Riverside is the 6th most popular hiking trail of all 11 hikes in Alberta. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby Rundle Riverside including Redearth Creek, Ross Lake, Brewster Creek and Skoki Valley.
