The South Monck Trails is a 40 km system. To reach the hiking trailhead, follow Route 11 north to Route 118. Head west on Route 118 into Bracebridge. The trailhead is behind the Canadian Tire Mall off Westvale.

Overall, South Monck Trails is the 7th most popular hiking trail of all 21 hikes in Ontario. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby South Monck Trails including Bracebridge Resource Management Centre Trails and Porcupine Ridge.
