The La Traverse de Charlevoix is a 100km route that passes through serious terrain and the beautiful valleys of Hautes-Gorges Park. It runs from Grands-Jardins Park to Grand-Fond ski resort passing several huts and chalets (20km apart). This exhausting trail rolls from summit at 850m to valleys at 200m.

To reach the hiking trailhead located 400km from Montreal, follow Route 40 through Quebec City and pickup Route 138 to Bais St. Paul (follow signs to St. Anne). About 10km short of Bais St. Paul, turn north (left) on Route 381. In St. Urbain, register at 841 Rue St. Edouard CP171. Continue another 24km to the trailhead.

Also nearby are Parc Haute Gorge and Parc Sagueney.
