Hiking The Black Forest

The 2nd most popular hiking trail in Germany.

North of Zurich in the southwest corner of Germany, the Black Forest has 600 miles of trails maintained for cross-country skiing in the winter. The more difficult hiking is near Neustadt with 60 miles around the area. Another nice 75 mi. system of loops is centered by Feldberg.

Overall, Black Forest is the 2nd most popular hiking trail of all 11 hikes in Germany.
