Hiking The Kronplatz / Pusteral

Northeast of Bolzano in the south Tyrolean region, there are 90 miles of hiking trails centered around the town of Brunico below the Kronplatz Plateau. The trails were setup for winter cross-country skiing. Tracks lead to the towns of San Candido, Antholz, and Olang.

To reach this area from Venice, head north on Route A27 and then turn north on Route 5551. Next, turn west on Route E66.

Overall, Kronplatz / Pusteral is the 8th most popular hiking trail of all 12 hikes in Italy.
