Southeast of Geneva in the northern Swiss Alps on the French border, the small French valley of Les Gets in the Haute Savoie valley has plenty of serious hiking. Trails run through lush forested mountains with flower-festooned fields.

To reach this area from Geneva, head southeast on Route A40 to Cluses. Follow Route D902 northeast into Les Gets.

Overall, Les Gets is the 11th most popular hiking trail of all 15 hikes in Switzerland.
