Southeast of Geneva and Martigny, the alpine Verbier area is immense spreading over 4 valleys with a maximum vertical drop of around 6,000 feet. There are numerous hiking routes across the mountain valleys.

To reach this area from Geneva, head east on Route A1 and south on Route A9 into Martigny. Follow Route 21 towards Verber.

Looking for some nightlife? Try Le Pub Mont-Fort and then head to Tartata. Or try the upscale Farm Club pub.

Overall, Verbier is the 6th most popular hiking trail of all 15 hikes in Switzerland.
