Hiking The Lhasa To Kathmandu

The 2nd most popular hiking trail in Tibet.

There are jeep road traversing high ridge lines from Lhasa to Kathmandu, Nepal. From this route, an off-road side trip can be made up to the Rongbuk basecamp under the north face of Mr. Everest. The hiking route to Kathmandu crosses six major passes and through monastery towns of Gyantse, Xigastse and Xegar. All this before the 15000 feet descent into the Sun Kosi River valley.

Overall, Lhasa To Kathmandu is the 2nd most popular hiking trail of all 2 hikes in Tibet.
