Near Anchorage, the 50km Kincaid Park Trail system may have moose.

Kincaid Park is located southwest of downtown Anchorage and the airport.

To reach the hiking trailhead go west to the end of Raspberry Road to the park.Can also be reached off Jodphur Rd at the west end of Dimond Blvd.This is a different trailhead with access to more trail.

Overall, Kincaid Park is the 10th most popular hiking trail of all 54 hikes in Alaska. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby Kincaid Park including Hilltop Trails, Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, Crow Pass / Iditarod Trail, Eklutna Lakeside Trail, Twin Peaks Trail and Bold Ridge TrailEast Fork Trail.
