Hiking The Hartley Springs Trail

South of June Lake, the Hartley Springs loop is a 9 mile hiking trek. Hike begins opposite Pumice Mine Road on U.S. 395, just south of June Lake Junction. Starting elevation is about 7800 feet, rising to about 8900 at 3.5 miles, then down to start.

Overall, Hartley Springs Trail is the 36th most popular hiking trail of all 88 hikes in California. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby Hartley Springs Trail including Panorama Mountain and Moraines and Meadows Loop Trail.
